I'm so happy to see this page :D I've waited for it in anticipation since the last one. It's really nice to see other war prisoners. It's a bit like a cold shower after the party chapter.
And oh my god...I think this guy cursed in one frame more than anyone has ever through the entire comic XD I hope you won't need to raise your PG-rating because of him! (I'm joking, though there really is this rule in pg-13 american block busters where you have a limit of one f***-word per movie. Any more and you get PG-17...we live in a strange world)
Anyway... I wonder if Ruisos father is alive! On one hand I believe he isn't but on the other... his character could bring some interesting dynamics among those prisoners...either way, I can't wait for more! :D

Oh, and Ruiso looks kinda handsome with that serious expression in the last 3 frames O_O...weird, I compliment Ruiso a lot lately, I might have developed some kind of fangirl crush on him XD

Meanwhile, just outside the stockade:

- "Are they still going on about sex slavery and weirdness?"

- "Yup! You hear the fear in their voices, and the curiosity, and the desire... that one against the opposite wall, fourth in from the left, really wants an older woman to take charge of him. The one in that corner there is hoping we'll whisk him away and force him into some fertility rites that'll cure his impotence."

- "Well, I think they can forget it - they all look like curdled milk!"

- "Don't be so certain. The Hym Gdezsu has shown an interest in that one, with the red tuft, there. And the one there with the cut right the way up his arm seems to be crushing on our long-haired men, particularly-

- "For your information, the Hym Gdezsu subdued and captured the red tuft personally! And if you think-!"

- "No... no. Curdled milk, as you say. «Hey, you in there with the cut along arm- yes, you! My handsome friend here is going to make your dreams come true!» There, that shut them up."

- "What did you just say to them?!"

- "That if they didn't quiet down, I'd be coming in there with a pair of shears to relieve them of their-"

- "All right! Enough! That had better be all you said, though... Now, what do you think our next move will be regarding the Empire...?"

@Greenwood Goat:
Ahaha, i really like your elaborate vision, it made me laugh :D I have a feeling that from now one every time i'll be looking at this page i will imagine a pair of Haibne soldiers laughing their asses off (or getting over a slight crush ><)
And this was supposed to be a serious scene...

Haha, yessss, mission accomplished! I personally find Ruiso very attractive, so i'm happy someone shares my sentiment :-)

We really wanted this scene to be a bit more serious than the party one, hence the dark surroundings and the strong language. Sir Bukin was loosely based on my friends from historical reenactment; they are very kind but so foul-mouthed it's hard to listen to them talk :D I hope Bukin's swearing won't get us in trouble, because i would very much like to keep it...

To me he seems like this type of character, who took care of the MC and became more attached the the kid than the actuad distant or overworking parent. The mentor, nanny or teacher type of character. I mean, I don't know about the details, but the slip ups such as "...run, kid" and "Ruiso...I mean MY LORD!" made me think such way. And I don't mind him swearing XD He is funny in how he does that :D
Though I wonder why he would made up such gossip XD For propaganda purposes? Was he joking, as some people took it too seriously? XD

Edit: There's one thing I noticed. I thought the "keep it together" advice was Bukin's line, but it's actually what Ruiso thinks... I havent noticed that, despite different shape of the bubble. I think it may be because of the colors - the image and the bubbles in the last 3 frames have the same darkness despite being different colors, and because of that they kinda blend into background... I think it's second time I made that mistake during reading (where I though the thoughts are normal dialogue) is it ok to suggest to make "thought" bubbles even a bit more distinct? As in a bit lighter or darker than the normal dialogue bubbles?

Sorry for taking so much time to answer. Joolita has been swamped with work recently and I haven't been feeling too well.
I changed the thought bubble, tell me do you think it's any better now.
Bukin was probably bored and joked around. I think that when some people took his initial, probably lighter joke seriously he doubled down. And Joolita pointed out that actually similar stereotypes about the Huzsans must be abundant in the Empire. Because to men who are used to a strong patriarchal system such self governing women must be frightening but also somewhat sexy creatures ;-)
We have also answered one of your questions, but for now it's the voting incentive on TWC. We weren't planning on using it as an incentive, but the week was as it was and Joolita had no time to make a different incentive. Sigh. Sorry for that. The new page will be on Monday in our time zone, but there is almost no way we will manage to finish it before midnight. Double sigh...
